Moyrad | Prediction Market Platform for Real-World Events

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Moyrad platform ("Platform"), operated by Moyrad ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering on or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

The Platform facilitates skill-based prediction market forecasting. It is not a gambling platform, lottery, or securities exchange.

1. Eligibility

To use Moyrad, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of or physically located in Nigeria
Provide accurate and current registration information
Not be barred from using the Platform under applicable Nigerian law

We reserve the right to request proof of age, identity, or residence at any time. Accounts opened in violation of these eligibility requirements will be suspended or permanently closed.

2. Account Registration

You may register using your email address and password, or via supported third-party OAuth providers (including Google). You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

You may only hold one Moyrad account. Multiple accounts are prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all accounts held.

3. Platform Description

Moyrad is a skill-based prediction market platform. Users trade YES or NO positions on real-world events across categories including politics, sports, finance, entertainment, and current affairs. Market prices are determined dynamically using an Automated Market Maker (AMM) pricing engine. All positions are denominated in Moyrad Points, where 1 Point equals ₦1.

Moyrad does not offer investment advice, securities trading, or financial products regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria. Participation in prediction markets carries risk; you may lose part or all of your staked balance.

4. Wallet, Deposits & Points

4.1 The Moyrad Wallet

Each user is allocated a Moyrad wallet denominated in Points (1 Point = ₦1). Your wallet balance represents your available funds for trading on the Platform. Wallet balances are not legal tender and do not bear interest.

4.2 Deposits

Deposits are made via bank transfer to Moyrad's designated account. Upon confirmation of your transfer, your wallet will be credited with the corresponding number of Points. All deposits are held in a segregated trust account and are not commingled with Moyrad's operating funds. We reserve the right to set minimum and maximum deposit thresholds.

4.3 Referral Bonus

Users who refer new users to the Platform are entitled to a referral bonus of 200 Points (equivalent to ₦200), credited upon the referee's first confirmed deposit. Referral bonuses are credited to the referring user's wallet and are subject to the standard withdrawal terms. Referral bonuses may not be withdrawn until the referring user has completed at least one trade.

5. Trading Rules

5.1 Trade Fee

A trade fee of 1% is applied to all BUY orders, calculated on the exact cost of shares purchased (not the stated stake). No trade fee is applied to SELL orders.

5.2 Execution Price & Shares

The execution price for each trade is calculated at the moment of trade submission based on the current AMM market probability. Share quantities are calculated as the floor of (stake ÷ execution price). The exact cost of a trade is shares × execution price; any residual (stake minus exact cost) is returned to your wallet as Change.

5.3 Maximum Trade Size

The maximum stake for a single trade is ₦10,000,000 (ten million naira). This limit may be adjusted at Moyrad's discretion.

5.4 Position Commitment Cap

Users with a total wallet balance of ₦10,000 or more may not allocate more than 70% of their total balance to any single open event. This limit is calculated at the time of each trade and is designed to prevent overexposure.

5.5 Large Trade Cooldown

If a single trade exceeds 30% of your current wallet balance on a given event, a 60-minute cooldown will be triggered before you may place further large trades on the same event. This applies per event and resets after 60 minutes.

6. Early Exit

You may exit an open position before the event resolves by using the EXIT POSITION function on your active trades screen. The following terms apply:

Early exit is only available while the event is in OPEN status
An early exit fee of 5% of your exit notional will be deducted at the time of exit
Exit notional is calculated as: Current Market Price × Shares held
Your net realised gain or loss will be reflected immediately in your wallet balance

The early exit fee is non-refundable and represents the cost of liquidity provision. You acknowledge and accept this fee by initiating an exit. This fee must be disclosed on the EXIT POSITION confirmation screen at all times.

7. Event Resolution

7.1 Resolution Process

Events are resolved by Moyrad's resolution team based on publicly verifiable information and the resolution criteria stated for each event. We aim to resolve events within 48 hours of the real-world outcome being definitively known.

7.2 Disputed Resolutions

If you believe an event has been incorrectly resolved, you may submit a formal dispute within 72 hours of resolution by contacting support@moyrad.com. Moyrad's decision on disputed resolutions is final.

7.3 Event Cancellation

Moyrad reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or void any event in the following circumstances: the underlying event is cancelled or its outcome is indeterminate; reliable resolution data is unavailable; or the event has been determined to be in error. In such cases, all staked funds will be returned to participants' wallets in full, without fees.

8. Group Challenges

Group Challenges are user-created prediction markets. By creating or participating in a Group Challenge:

You acknowledge that group challenges are governed by these Terms in all respects
The minimum stake per group challenge trade is ₦200
The creator of a group challenge is responsible for setting accurate, verifiable resolution criteria
Moyrad reserves the right to remove any group challenge that violates these Terms or applicable law

9. Ranked Mode

Moyrad's Ranked Mode is an optional competitive forecasting system. By participating in Ranked Mode:

You compete in season-based divisions with League Points (LP) earned or deducted on each ranked event resolution
Your hidden MMR (Matchmaking Rating) determines the difficulty and LP weighting of ranked events
Rank decay applies for prolonged inactivity, as specified in the current season rules
Grace demotion protection is available for a limited number of demotion events per season
Moyrad reserves the right to modify ranked rules, tiers, or seasons at any time

Ranked season results are non-transferable and have no monetary value beyond the Platform.

10. Withdrawals

10.1 Minimum Withdrawal

The minimum withdrawal amount is ₦100 (one hundred naira).

10.2 Withdrawal Fee

A withdrawal fee of 1% of the withdrawal amount is deducted at the time of processing.

10.3 Processing Time

Withdrawals are processed within one to three business days. Processing times may be extended during peak periods or where additional verification is required.

10.4 Early-Stage Withdrawal Limit

During the Platform's first 90 days of full operation, a daily withdrawal limit of ₦20,000 (twenty thousand naira) per user applies. This limit exists to ensure orderly capital management during the Platform's growth phase and will be reviewed and lifted at Moyrad's discretion.

10.5 KYC & Verification

Withdrawals above specified thresholds (as notified to users from time to time) are subject to completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, including provision of a valid government-issued ID and proof of address. Moyrad reserves the right to withhold withdrawal processing pending KYC completion.

10.6 Withdrawal Suspension

Moyrad reserves the right to suspend withdrawal processing where:

(a) the account is under investigation for fraud, manipulation, or breach of these Terms;
(b) a regulatory or law enforcement request has been received; or
(c) the account's KYC status is incomplete or invalid.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person
Engage in market manipulation, collusion, or coordinated trading schemes
Exploit software bugs, glitches, or errors for financial advantage (all such gains are void)
Use automated bots, scripts, or tools without our express written consent
Engage in money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Violate any applicable Nigerian law or regulation

Breach of any prohibited conduct provision may result in immediate account suspension, wallet freeze, forfeiture of outstanding balances, and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the Moyrad name, logo, market data, design, software, and editorial content — is the intellectual property of Moyrad and is protected under applicable Nigerian and international law. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any Platform content without our prior written consent.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PLATFORM'S FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NIGERIAN LAW, MOYRAD'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE DEPOSITED IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE RELEVANT CLAIM.

We are not liable for losses arising from: internet outages or technical failures outside our control; errors in user-submitted data; market movements; or events of force majeure.

14. Amendments

Moyrad reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Where amendments are material, we will notify registered users via email at least 14 days prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. Where mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved by arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent Nigerian court.
